The energy on campus is palpable as AIMS Rwanda officially welcomes our newest cohort of Master’s in Mathematical Sciences students.
The young scientists and innovators come from 15 African countries, and comprise 40% women.
To mark the beginning of their academic journey at AIMS, a series of orientation activities introduced students to the university’s learning environment and community.
Welcoming the fresh intake, Centre President Prof. Sam Yala reinforced our core mission: to nurture Africa’s top talent and harness science and technology for the continent’s transformation. Interactive sessions across Academics, Research, Mental Health, Logistics, etc, ensured students settle into campus life and build connections.
Over the next 10 months, these brilliant minds will sharpen their skills and build solutions to shape Africa’s future.
We wish our new cohort a transformative year of learning and impact.
Welcome to AIMS Rwanda!
